Justin Bieber's New Haircut (PHOTOS)

Breathe deeply. Hold the phones. Flip your hair one more time. Brace yourself. Justin Bieber... got a haircut. And we have the photo evidence.

The 16-year old pop singer has risen to superstardom at least in small part thanks to his signature hair style, that shaggy, front-flipping dirty blonde 'do. And now, the flip has been trimmed.

Bieber unveiled his new haircut on TMZ Live on Monday afternoon, providing during and after images that may make teenager girls cry. And teenage guys go out and have to get new haircuts.

His explanation?

"I just wanted a kind of a change, I didn't want to cut it all off, but I had had it for 3 1/2 years, I had just gotten sick of it, it was in my eyes, I didn't want it in my face, I just wanted to change it up."

It was his regular stylist, Vanessa, who did the scissoring on the set of his new music video with Rascal Flatts, sheering even shorter the trimmed job he got earlier in February.

If you're enraged, feel safe in the knowledge of this tweet: "yeah so it's true...i got a lil haircut...i like it...and we are giving all the hair cut to CHARITY to auction. Details coming soon." Good boy!

And if you're worried about your daughter, Bieber tried to calm the situation down: "my fans will get used to it," he said.

Not that Bieber is interested in another lady right now -- he bought an ENTIRE flower shop's stock for rumored girlfriend Selena Gomez on Monday. That Canadian must love Presidents Day.

That said, the flower spree is something he can do after his movie, "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never" made $30 million in its opening weekend at the box office.

Wonder what he gave himself on Friday after taking home the MVP of the NBA's Celebrity All-Star Game.

You're not only insulting him, you're also insulting the gay community with such comments. "Now he looks like a lesbian" ? I know you probably didn't mean anything by it, but you should take a moment to think before writing your comments.

I think people should really find something other to do than criticize a kid for getting his hair cut. He's sixteen, he's a boy, he got his hair cut. The only reason I'm even on this thread is because it's made such a big deal over the internet. COME ON, people. It's a flipping hair cut. Get over it.

Are you serious? I think he looks like a little lesbian any way he has his hair! If the ladies like it, than hey, you can't blame him.. But as a male, i'd like to seek out a normal teenagers opinion on my hair, especially if every guy in the world thinks I look like a dike. Don't you agree?

Not that I really care, but I said for 3 years how much cuter ALL these boys would be if they cut their hair old style (the buys sporting this Bieber style). Guys just look good with short hair. Some boys went all through middle school with long hair in front of their faces, maybe that's a good thing, they don't need to be dating then anyway ;-) Fallon, what do you think?

I have often wondered how long guys had to spend on their hair in the morning to get it to all go forward like that and stay that way all day. That style looks like high maintenance for a guy-do.
