Larry King will be a guest on Piers Morgan's show just days after he called his successor at CNN "oversold."
CNN made the announcement on Monday, but would only say that King will be a guest "later this week."
In a widely-circulated interview on the BBC last week, King said he thinks CNN made a mistake with its promotion of Morgan.
"One of the problems they did was oversell it," King said. "He was going to be dangerous, he's going to be water-cooler talk. 'Wait 'till you see me. I'm different.' He's good! he's not that dangerous."
On Monday, Morgan wrote on Twitter that he would be talking about those comments with King.
"Got a feeling we may need to discuss Larry's claim that I'm 'oversold' and 'not dangerous,'" Morgan tweeted.
