Andrej Pejic Discovered While Working At McDonald's, Wants To Do Playboy

Androgynous model Andrej Pejic has quickly become one of fashion's "it" faces, so we were eager to hear what he actually had to say about his rise to fame. (Call us if you ever want to talk, A!) In an interview with the Telegraph, 19-year-old Pejic tells Charlotte Williamson, fashion is "a very liberal industry. You can be yourself. Just not overweight." Well, the kid's honest.

On how he was discovered:

Pejic was spotted shortly before his seventeenth birthday. "I was working in McDonald's part time, and this guy came in -- he wanted a cheeseburger. He then told me to see him at his modelling agency."

Did he think you were a woman? "I don't know, he didn't say. Obviously, when I went into the agency, they figured it all out ... But they signed me up right away."

On what the future holds:

"I would love to do Playboy with [the photographer] Terry Richardson. I love Playboy and Terry would be the person to do it."

I think Playboy would very much like to do an interview with Andrej. They could possibly do a photoshoot of him wearing a few sexy outfits, but I would guess no _nude photos.

Most young straight men I have talked with admit they are very interested in learning about transgender and transsexuals. Its a whole new, open mined, curious, young generation out there.
And anyway, the few trans women I have had deeper conversations with have told me that most
straight guys are still interested in them, after they tell the guy they are trans!

But I live in the West Hollywood/West Hollywood Hills area of L.A., So its a very openminded
area to begin with.

Glad you agree. I also don't see how he can model for ladies' fashion labels. He isn't built like a lady lol. If he were the face/body of a new androgynous fashion line, though, that would be more fitting and pretty awesome.

He's a very pretty young man. Can't wait to see what he looks like in 20 years. I know the guy from the band AHA was gorgeous when he was younger, and still is to this day. Some people win the genetic lottery, when it comes to good looks.
