Wisconsin

Mother Jones:

On Saturday night, when Mother Jones staffers tweeted a report that riot police might soon sweep demonstrators out of the Wisconsin capitol building--something that didn't end up happening--one Twitter user sent out a chilling public response: "Use live ammunition."

From my own Twitter account, I confronted the user, JCCentCom. He tweeted back that the demonstrators were "political enemies" and "thugs" who were "physically threatening legally elected officials." In response to such behavior, he said, "You're damned right I advocate deadly force." He later called me a "typical leftist," adding, "liberals hate police."

Only later did we realize that JCCentCom was a deputy attorney general for the state of Indiana.

a deputy attorney general for the state of Indiana, past or present, Republican or Democrat should know better than to advocate the use of deadly force against non violent protesters. What state of fascism does "JCCentCom" subscribe to that allows him to ignore the fundamental  Read More...

They love the Constitution except for the parts they don't. In this case, the right to peaceful assembly. I'd like to think that the Wisconsin State Capitol belongs to the people.

Anyone else notice that the trolls are now trying to use the whole civility idea against liberals, like it was they who thought it up (instead of Jon Stewart) , whenever the left does things like, oh, stand up for their civil liberties? Too bad for them that for every Jeff Cox that makes national headlines, there's then more just itching for the limelight...

Yep, it looks like we really are turning into a third world country, complete with calls for violence during peaceful (& legal) protests. I wonder if this guy is gonna get put on a government watch list? Oh, wait, he's part of the government. Awkward.....

Obama's presidency has if nothing else proved just how much racism is in this country. A major political party has all but admitted that they exploit racial tension for political gain. See "southern strategy"

I don't condone it, but I understand it.
'...He specifically asks what should be done to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. The answers are quite revealing. One person wants Thomas, a black man, “strung up.” Another says “send him back to the fields!“. One lady who says she’s “all about peace” wants the Justice tortured. Another girl wants his toes cut off and fed to him! Yet another wants Justice Thomas’ wife, Ginny, strung up as well.
Oh, and Justice Antonin Scalia, according to one protester should “go back to Sicily!...'

I'm one of those people that believe Thomas is a waste of skin appointed simply to moc Justice Marshal. The point is of course both sides has people that say crazy thing but only one side elects then to office.

Live ammo? Did this guy forget that we have the right to bear arms in this country? Was he looking for a shootout between corrupted "cops" and demonstrators? I hope that he got fired immediately!

Why are dems complaining about Republicans knocking on doors? In 1988, Senator Byrd had a Republican *ARRESTED* and literally dragged onto the Senate Floor for a quorum, getting broken bone in the process:

The Wisconsin Republicans are too nice to arrest people. But they are knocking on doors and doing a little arm-twisting about how legislators have a duty to the legislative process regardless of whether they like it or not.

If Walker is getting compared to Gadhafi, does that make Democrats something worse like the Central Communist Party?

Oops, this got posted in the wrong thread about Walker. I just want to make it clear that I deplore the use of violence against anyone, but I don't think Wisconsin is anywhere near a police state.

He'll probably have a job waiting for him at one of the many corporations of the ko.ch brothers. Maybe something in human resources only they call it "MEAT WITH EYES" resources.

So Jeff Cox can now say he was right...the "lefties" were out to get him and they succeeded. This won't silence him...it will only make him angrier and potentially more dangerous.

Was this man calling for live ammunition when the tea baggers were threatening the lives of democratic congressmen???
