Mike Tyson Talks Oscars With Leonard Maltin (VIDEO)

First Posted: 02/23/11 01:58 PM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:35 PM ET

In his second Funny Or Die appearance to date, Mike Tyson offers his Oscar picks. Because why not?

Tyson is joined by noted film critic Leonard Maltin in this hilarious interview, where Tyson gets creative with his choices for best picture and actress ("Avatar" and Halle Berry) and talks about how much he loved the "Friendster" movie "The Social Network."

Check out the full video below from Funny Or Die, and see if you agree with Tyson about how Mark Wahlberg would really do in the ring, and whether or not "The Kids Are All Here" will take home a statue.

Mike Tyson remains my favorite boxer/fighter of all time...he can repeatedly poke fun at himself after all these years. Good for you Mike.

In reality Mike is a pretty bright individual. He's got his daemons and issues but that's another story. He's not the character he portrayed in the ring.

On another note, this sketch actually wasnt funny. I though it was lazy because it seemed predicated on the assumed absurdity of anyone ever assuming Mike could comment on the Oscars. The joke was the idea. The joke should have been in the sketch.

Now the Mike Tyson and Wayne Brady Bobby Brown remake was hilarious.

It's good to see he's at a place where he can laugh at himself a little.

At his peak, Tyson was the scarist fighter I have ever seen. Too bad he fell from grace.

In the early years, no one in history could have beaten Mike Tyson. Too fast, too strong, too much head movement, excellent footwork, an imposing figure and devastating 5-6 punch combos. He looked more like a cruiserweight in the HW ranks. Even the glancing blows sent a message of fear and loathing to his opponents. After his first few pro fights, no one wanted in to the HW ranks. Lennox Lewis ducked and dodged Mike until he had already fallen from grace.

After Cus died, Rooney moved on; Mike was done as a fighter. He thought he could take people out with one punch, no footwork, little head movement. Cus taught him everything he knew inside the ring and a WHOLE lot outside of it. Mike Tyson today owes his life to Cus and I think even he'll tell you that. But, Mike Tyson in his heyday was untouchable.

Please forgive me, but Mr. Tyson looks like he might be high. Otherwise, he's a pretty good actor in his role as film critic.

LMAO! He's such an Einstein.

Coming up next week: Iron Mike offers his personal commentary on the Large Hadron Collider project.
