Kate Middleton Christens Anglesey Lifeboat In Style (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

Prince William and Kate Middleton visited Trearddur Bay Lifeboat Station at Anglesey (where they live) on Thursday morning where the pair "christened" a new lifeboat. The Associated Press explains, "The champagne bottle was not broken over the boat, as is traditional, because the lifeboat was an inflatable and it would not have been easy to crack the bottle on its bow." Phew.

Kate looked every bit the princess part in a champagne-colored coat by Katherine Hooker, scarf, Aquatalia by Marvin K. booties, a clutch by L.K. Bennett and a fascinator (headpiece) by Vivien Sheriff. Smart move, since it looks rather windy!

I've always been a royal watcher for years. I can't wait for this wedding to take place.
Kate will make a beautiful bride and she will make Britian proud. We will be watching Wills and Kate for many a year.

His mother used to say she wanted her sons to know the people and would even want them to live amongst them before having to shelter in the palaces. It seems, in so far as is possible, they have, just by attending a regular university, etc. William seems most at ease amongst people and he has, indeed, chosen well. They will live in their own home on this island, without a staff of servancts; have been seen in the grocery stores, etc. This is all very, very good for them.

I am not by nature a voyeur, however I love clicking on articles and photos of the beautiful Kate; her inner joy radiates so intensely that it reaches across the ocean to warm this heart in wintry New England. What a lovely couple, it seems Prince William has chosen well.

Are these "duties" so important that these persons warrant 24/7 police protection and a public expense account? Why must she wear feathers - hope they were fake. Not very diplomatic to flaunt fashion such as fur or feathers that many find controversial/offensive.

Absolutely ADORE her! Look at the smiles they are giving each other - that is love! So nice to see them easing Kate into her new role and not thrown to the sharks like Diana & Fergie.
