Nick Schrank Balance Video: Former College Football Player Makes Amazing Clip

First Posted: 02/25/11 04:31 PM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:35 PM ET

Nick Schrank, a former college football player who played middle linebacker at George Mason, recently posted a video on YouTube that shows off his incredible balance.

"Precision is the true measure of strength and speed," Schrank says in the introduction. "You can hit your target at 100 miles an hour, but if you don't hit it on the mark, you're done. That's what football is all about."

Schrank then jumps three feet in the air and balances himself on tiny ball on top of a platform. Scroll down to watch the video.

Nice, but how do you get down.

I would have liked to see him pick up the ball after he did that. is there no way the ball could have been attached to the platform? he was just entirely too cocky for me to believe that this is 100% true.

it's actually a form of balance training...I do a lot of stuff like this..NO WHERE near that high. But same concepts...it's core work that elevates your intrinsic muscles that aren't primary movers. My favorite is 2 Bosu platforms with both blue parts against each other...try it...it's fun

Wow. I don't know how he can do that with shoes on. I do everything barefoot:

Fairfax native and current resident here. George Mason has had an official football team for a long time. And by "a long time" I mean never. Don't let the George Mason Football website fool you either. It's a mirage.

That'll never be an Olympic Sport.

Besides there are lots of wives and ex-wives out there a whole lot better at jumping on balls.
