Here is a great opportunity to reduce tensions against the U.S. in the Middle East and reduce our military presence there. The U.S. has either tacitly or actively supported virtually every depot there since the end of WWII. These tyrants are currently dropping like flies.

The old methods will no longer work and we must avoid using Friedmanism and military intimidation in the future. The CIA and our military are no longer an option to support the efforts of the oil cartel to secure their profits.

A rare opportunity has been offered to our country to drastically reduce military spending and the control of our government by the oil corporations. The future of our country can be assured if we do the correct thing, now!

But that would mean less profits for the MIC - is our government willing to go there? And would also mean cuts to the budgets of the CIA and military - two non-touchables. Possibly even to Department of Homeland Stupidity, too - but of course they could increase funding for the TSA.

What to do? The correct thing or the thing that profits certain entities?

We have reached a point in history where we can actually change the course of our future as a nation.

The MIC is dragging our country down, the corporations and banks are destroying our way of life and our leadership has this opportunity to redeem itself if they do the correct thing.

The comment above went to the White House yesterday.

Now that the people themselves are protesting against the authoritarian rulers, the USA decides to "change". The USA supports "genuine" democracy as opposed to what....the "fake" democracy that's bought and paid for? the one that is taking the dignity away from people and making us less safe? All these double meanings are getting old.
Is it time to walk the walk yet?

fanned - "walk the walk" - what a novel idea for our government. Think it might catch on?

He never had an original idea in his life, except where to have his hair dyed on Cottage Grove Ave.
