Sandra Bullock Oscars 2011: Remembers Last Year's Oscars

Sandra Bullock Jesse James Oscars

First Posted: 02/27/11 07:58 PM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:35 PM ET

Sandra Bullock looked stunning Sunday night at the Oscars where she will present the award for Best Actor, and she told Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet that her secret was being more relaxed than she was last year.

"At least I've had a full night's sleep," she said. "When I was presenting last time I'd only had like two hours. I don't remember anything. I remember none of it. I had a little man that no one knew about. I was taking care of that kid!"

Last year Sandra took home the Oscar for best actress in 'The Blind Side.' Just a week later, Michelle 'Bombshell' McGee announced her affair with Sandra's then-husband, Jesse James. In April, Sandra announced she had filed for divorce from Jesse - and that she had adopted a baby boy, Louis Bardo, from New Orleans in January. She and Jesse had wanted to keep Louis a secret until after the Academy Awards.

Sandra told People magazine how she kept her new son under wraps for months.

"Just the doctors' visits were filled with decoys and dark cars," she said. "People that I had worked with for years couldn't understand why I wouldn't let them into my house for (Oscar ceremony gown) fittings."

Last month Jesse announced his engagement to tattoo artist Kat Von D.

There's a Sandra Bullock campaign on Facebook to get her to host 2012.

Let's face it, she makes really lousy movies. If all it requires is a messy divorce to keep her off of movie screens for a full year, then I say thank you Jesse James!

You've got to be kidding...Hmmm, a graceful proven actress who wins an oscar...! Where have you been?

A little over the top. But to be honest, her films' Brand Commitment to Mediocrity needed a rest to be sure.

that she had to actually had to say "jessie" to the facebook actor and then in the next sentence
say the word "james" to franco made me gag. the snarky writer who penned that bit of monolog
for her should be hunted down and................she's to classy to warrant that kind of treatment by
some no talent hack.

I though her little bit was actually kind of funny. Funnier than most of the other so-called jokes of the evening.

Whoever wrote the lines for her and Jeff Bridges obv. made both of them say the first names of the nominees each time to draw attention to those people, but I did feel sorry for her having to say "Jesse" out loud in public and on TV in front of billions. We girls know that hurt. Being the class act she is, she didn't flinch a bit.

Looking at that photo above gives me the feeling Sandra was looking into the face of evil. I was horrified when I heard she married him. Talk about the odd couple. Lesson hard learned!

Hmm I clicked on "James Franco in a drag" and got to this article...

By the way James Franco was stiffer than a tree, I expected him to be a lot more fun.

So what we can deduce from your snarkiness here, Sparky, is that James Franco in a dress still looks better than you?

Like her, but hate the plastic surgery.

Elaborate -- what do you think she's had done? Given how fickle people are, I am sure many celebrities would be criticized for looking old if they DIDN'T have cosmetic surgery.

Surely, we didn't need to reminded of Ms Bullock's difficult year, did we? How low and slimey to be sure to dredge up all her emotional trauma, explode it into a headline and stick it in her face just in case she may have forgotten about it or try to put it behind her.

Her presentation at the awards show was one of the very best of the entire evening.  I love the woman; she's a breath of fresh air and grace.

The night was about award-winning actors and productions.  To me, it really doesn't matter what her ex does; he's clearly showed what a dog he is.  He's VERY old news.

Moving on....

I agree she's seems really genuine; even her intro referenced how much people genuinely like and admire her.

How can Jesse get any woman to marry him with his record?

You think he would get tired of the whole marriage thing anyway.

I guess some woman want a "fixer upper" kind of guy. Reasonable good looking that they can socialize and tame. I think they feel they can train him, but a leopard don't change its spots.

Its the only way I can figure out these women who start a romance with death row convicts.
