Sounds like this a plan to derail whatever is left of the economy and defeat Obama in 2012. Does anyone care about the average citizen anymore?

So John, when you slash these 700,000 jobs, just what is it you expect these people to do? Any game plan?

Sadly, a lot of them won't anyway. If it was a case of people voting for their interests, the Republicans would cease to exist as a party.

Jobs? We don't need no stinkin' jobs. Just cut off unemployment insurance, that'll help.

It's the same as it always was. I don't expect the same party that squandered over 8 million jobs during their reign to see it any other way. #middleclassSOL

Capitalism went into cardiac arrest in Sept 2008, it was revived and kept alive after a tearful plea on the floor of the US House by John Boehner, he said we must spent $700 Billion to save the richest banks, insurance co's and securities dealers in the country. Now we are told that they only way to save the country again, is to do away with Planned Parenthood, Clean Air, Food Safety and eliminate pre-school day care for the poor. And if that means we lose some jobs in the process, "So Be It".

The Republicans are caught between the devil and the deep blue when they want to cut government during a recession and that is that when only the government can spend then the government must spend to keep the recession from going into a depression. They never expected to create jobs in the first place because cutting spending will not do that. Look at every bill they have brought up and it has to do with pandering to their base of the tea baggers and the pro-life crowd..nothing to do with jobs!

Any study done that doesn't come out their way is dismissed and the beat to destroy the President goes on. Same old story; different day.

Balance the budget? Draw back and close all non-essential military bases overseas and cut 250B a year from the military budget. Get out of Afghanistan and concentrate on al Qaeda where you find them; it doesn't take 100,000 troops to do that. Roll back the tax cuts for those making over 500K per year. Eliminate big agricultural and oil company tax breaks. Raise contributions to social security to the 200k level. There you are..balanced in less than 10 years.

YO Johnny, You promised to create/provide MORE new Jobs, right?! Instead you are doing all you can to ELIMINATE existing jobs. What's the Dealio Orange Johnny? Oh that is right, you Tea Party Gopers are doing ALL you can to make the situation as bad as possible, which you will then try to blame on the President and the Democrats. I want to let you and Mitch in on a little secret:

According to Boehner, and the GOP, one of the main reasons they opposed the Healthcare bill, was that it would kill 600,000 jobs (a lie, by the way), however when a plan of theirs may kill 700,000, the attitude is "So be it".

When Boehner found out the cuts would cause the loss of 700,000 jobs....he responded with "So be it."

To believe that eliminating 700k jobs from any sector is the path to job creation is ludicrous; there are a lot of people that seem to be trying hard to believe though.
