Madonna & Lourdes Leon Hit Vanity Fair Oscar Party (PHOTOS)

Madonna and her daughter Lourdes a.k.a. Lola Leon hit the Vanity Fair Oscar party in West Hollywood on Sunday night. Madonna wore what appears to be a leotard under a sheer and feathered nightgown, revealing, well...exactly what you think a leotard/sheer-nightie combo might reveal, while Lola opted for a fun, patterned sheath. And a semi-embarrassed look.

I don't care how Madonna dresses. She's Madonna. If it wasn't for her constant reinvention and shock value, her career would have been over long ago. Her body is Amazing, but if you look closely at her face, time has not been kind. Lots of lines, crepe-y eyes and neck. She's aging at a pretty fast pace.

My issue is that she not only allows but taker her daughter to adult parties (where the 14 year-old girl has nothing to say that the adults want to hear, and will likely spend her time stealing sips of champagne from people's glasses) dressed in 6 inch heels. I wasn't allowed to wear 3-inch heels until I was 16. This kid's mother has her in the fast lane and seems to think she's a friend and business partner, not a parent. That never leads to anything good down the road.

For those women criticizing her for not dressing "age appropriately", you're just perpetuating the stereotype that older woman should stop being sexy after a certain age. I guarantee you're also the same women who become indignant when an aging actress or celebrity is fired or overlooked for a younger, sexier woman.

I don't particularly care for Madonna, but she works hard to keep her body in shape, so she can flaunt it if she wants. For a 50 year old, her body looks better than many 20 year olds, plus she's an entertainer, so more power to her. I understand if people don't like her, fine, rant all you want, but saying she needs to dress her age sounds like ageism to me.

If George Clooney or Pierce Brosnan goes shirtless and they show off the hard work they put into their body, no one seems to be as offended as they are when a woman does the same thing.

Of course Lourdes knows this is how her mother the celebrity dresses for events. She wouldn't be Madonna...but I do think that she should have made the skirt less sheer, especially with her bum sliding out. UberTacky.

I know she is Madonna but is that really an appropriate outfit to wear around your young daughter. The things that kid has probably seen. Lourdes is turning into a very pretty girl though.

She looks a lot like her father with just hints of Madonna in her face. She's going to be a knock-out, which is why Madonna got pregnant with Leon in the first place. She didn't want a relationship with him, she wanted a pretty child. Kind of mercenary don't you think?

Madonna has obviously had the Keratin straightening treatment, which is a super-hot thing going on in Miami and New York. Makes the hair, even already straight hair, super straight and shiny.
