Bravo Exec Andy Cohen Did Not Like PS 22's Oscar Performance (VIDEO)

WATCH: Bravo's Andy Cohen Not Crazy About PS 22's Oscar Song

The adorable choir from Staten Island's PS 22 closed down what was otherwise a humdrum Oscars on Sunday with a rendition of "Somewhere Over The Rainbow." Everyone, it seemed, was quite taken with the hopeful youngsters and their neon t-shirts (yes, Oprah too).

Everyone except...Bravo's Andy Cohen?

On MSNBC's Morning Joe, the host of Real Housewives reunion and studio exec said that he thought the performance was...not as great as everyone else thought.

"A public school chorus singing 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow.' I literally...if I wasn't going to go out to some parties I would have slit them right then. It was the worst. I was looking for a knife to stick in my eyes, it was so terrible."

Not a popular opinion, apparently. Gothamist called him a "mean old man" and "soulless" while Gawker wrote that "No sassy-snide point about entertainment nonsense is worth making if it might upset nice children who sing nice things."

Was the performance cheesy? Well, yes, that's the point. Look at the way they close their eyes and hold out their arms -- these children know what they're doing.
