the Progressives in Wisconsin MUST DEMAND that the Federal DOJ investigate the voter fraud in the State Supreme Court case. Can you think of even ONE Republican Clerk who wouldn't make sure that every vote was sent in? I watched h er interview. It was simple she was told to and was lying!!

Better recall those GOP senators fast -

SB23 - will pre-empt localities from doing ordinances on paid sick days. Hearing today.

Walker and his co-horts are making sure the middle-class has nothing.

Too funny ... national interest groups are interfering in Wisconsin's politics. Sounds just like the Koch bros, no? Oh, wait -- they're progressive, so I guess it's all right this time.

Big deal. The fact that these efforts are spearheaded by "national progressive groups" says it all. Does it mean anything if someone outside Wisconsin signs a petition to recall a state Senator? There are recalls in the works against the Democrats who fled to Illinois too.

Likely has less to do with "best man" than the organization behind the recall efforts. If they get this budget battle settled, people will probably be less interested in recalling anyone, but who can say for certain? Personally, I think this is a debate that had to happen but the divide between the parties continues to get more vitriolic, which I don't think is to anyone's credit.

A recall is good but why didn't progressives get out and vote instead? Did they think giving control to republicans was going to work out in their favor?

Why just a threat? You have 70,000 potential petition signets in one place. Just get ot the petitions and getthe job done. Idle threats are worse than meaningless. They create a false sense of security when they are not acted upon.
09:30 AM on 03/02/2011
#53 My thoughts exactly. They need to put this into action, not just threaten to do it. That shouldn't be hard with all the energy behind this right now.

The 14 Senators are slowly coming back. One of the Senators is pregnant and from reports is "extremely unhappy" being on the run. One or two will be back within days.

After the Assembly voted to engross the Budget Repair Bill last Friday, Democrat State Rep Hintz turned to a female colleague, Rep. Michelle Litjens and said: "You are F***king dead!"...Those progressive and their wacky targeting.

He apologized nearly immediately for his "heat of the moment" remark.
10:23 AM on 03/02/2011
Really. Three days later is your definition of immediately? Oh, but he was swept up in “the heat of the momentâ€, he couldn’t help himself! If Mr. Hintz is so psychologically unhinged that he will threaten people’s lives because a vote didn’t go the way he wanted, then he has no business in government. Do you actually feel good about defending this man? That’s sad.

Pay attention. He's right - the GOP in Wisconsin is dead. They cut their own throats.

I am glad this is happening. I heard Rs last week who were following the party line, expressing amazement at what SB 11 entailed. The polls show some shift in the support for the hard line Sc0tt!3 takes and his hard-line Senate supporters. IMHO, maybe 3 recalls could make it through...Good luck!....8-)
