Best iPad 2 Feature: Winner Skin (PHOTO)

First Posted: 03/02/11 03:34 PM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:35 PM ET

Steve Jobs introduced the new iPad 2 to the world today with great fanfare. The unit is thinner, has a front and rear camera and is twice as fast. However, our favorite feature is the new iWinner Skin it comes pre-loaded with:

...We've also heard rumors that the processor is powered by tiger blood, but that is unconfirmed.

Stupid. With dumb 'articles' like this, I fail to see the value AOL saw in the Huffington Post.

What you are seeing is the dumbing down of HP.

I am so excited that Steve Jobs continues to develop new and exciting products. The ideas that have sprung out of his brain have indelibly changed the world. Once again, the master out-innovates everybody else.

Damn, I hope he does it for decades more. But the skeletal hands are worrisome ......

Is there a way I can filter the stupid, frivolous and misleading headlines from HuffPost? I am more and more looking for different sources of news and commentary. Sorry HuffPost but really, and ipad headline to crack a joke?

Reuters and McClatchy are better for news.. HuffPo is for lighter fare.

I agree. I'm so bored and unimpressed by Huffpo these days.

Jobs is either very brave or in deep denial...I am hoping it is the first...he looks bad and should not be up there...
08:11 PM on 03/02/2011
He's taken a leave of absence as CEO of Apple. He is not directly running the company any more.
08:33 PM on 03/03/2011
He took his leave only recently. He is not doing the day to day, but he has a huge impact on the company. They did not just whip up the new iPad last week. It was most likely developed as soon as the first iPad announced, so Jobs was around.

I'm worried about him, but he should be up there as long as he's comfortable. No need for him to hide himself away.

HP badges make me feel validated.

Seriously, he can do whatever he wants. The worst thing to do when you sick is to stop living. He obviously loves his job and is very, very good at it.

Well every "gadget" qualifies as unnecessary. However, it does serve a purpose. It's practical, fun and pretty cheap.

Oh yeah? That's what they said about the original iPad. $9.5 BILLION later . . . .
