Did anyone read the article that was linked? Hahhahaha. A new low bar has been set. And it took TWO people to do it.

This trips me out. You know what's greener than an iPad 2? Using your iPad1. Or your iPhone. Or the laptop you already own.

I'm not saying don't buy an iPad, but I think people are trying to rationalize their purchase so they don't feel bad about the carbon footprint as well as the money invested into China's manufacturing industry.

If you want an iPad, buy an iPad. But this is sad.

HDMI output won't matter because OS 10.6.6 kills it and so far Apple hasn't bothered to think that this is an infuriating problem for users despite having a 42" television doing nothing while I have to live with a 13" screen. I simply will not watch Japanese television.

I recently switched from PC to an IMAC and even before that, considered an IPad. I still have a phone from the late 90's and don't intend to upgrade till I have to. But the ability to carry the IPad with me on vacation, or when out and about really sounds good to me. I will give this a few months to be out and used by lots and read the reviews of actual purchasers, Then I'm very likely to buy it!
