While AOL is a terrible business, it didn't help itself out when it was suckered into buying the HuffPo. AOL didn't seem to understand HP isn't a real news site. This place is a liberal hub to drool over Palin while reading celebrity updates. For simpletons.

Whoops, AOL stock hits lowest price ever!

How much $ from this merger has Huffington Post donated to poor people vs how much was pocketed?

What is the point of the "Denver" section, I get NY, LA and even Chicago, but Denver? Why no Washington DC section? Also a "Crime" section would be good, sometimes crimes are shoehorned into other sections, like the kid who killed his classmate is in education.

ya, i like the idea of a crime or justice section- covering trials like James Arthur Rays sweat lodge trial in Arizona.

Now that we know that HP is hiring six new journalists, who's leaving? I can't put my finger on who's been missing, but some familiar names have faded out.

I assume that at least one of these new reporters was hired to replace the reporter who was promoted to replace the editor who kept writing headlines that used the word "HUGE" in them ...

You do know this is a venture capital business.
Perhaps some of you thought this was some kind of vegan commune sponsored free-for-all.
