Brian L. Pomykala, Delta Passenger, Accused Of Assaulting Passenger, Punching Air Marshall

ATLANTA -- A man on a flight from Paris to Atlanta has been charged in federal court with assaulting a passenger and a federal law enforcement officer.

Investigators say Brian L. Pomykala was on a Delta Air Lines flight last Thursday when they say he awoke a sleeping female passenger by fondling her and "indicating that he needed some sex." The passenger alerted a flight attendant, who notified federal air marshals on board.

Authorities say he struck one of the marshals with a karate-style thrust to the throat. The marshal then placed Pomykala in a headlock while another handcuffed him.

He was released on a $10,000 bond on Friday. His attorney declined to comment.

I could swear I saw "fondling passengers" in my brochure !! I must have misread that clause.

And if you can't karate chop a U.S. Federal Marshal in the throat at random then I'm never taking another flight ! I mean really !! If there's anyone who should endure my throat chop it should be the Air Marshal ! I mean a I can't expect a stewardess to take one, can I ?

Well that trip didn't pan out the way I would have hoped but for $10,000 I can think a few politicians I'd like to karate chop, it would be worth it.

What if I had been Johnny Depp ? Would she have complained ? If I woke up and was being fondled by Kate Becknsale you wouldn't see me filing a complaint!! It really doesn't surprise me. It seems anything goes nowadays. Forget women's lib, which I was only a proponent of in certain areas, women are considered fair game and capable of being in control and able to take care of themselves in all situations.

Just look at how we are perceived in the movies, on TV and in novels. We are tough, able to defend ourselves, get out of sticky situations, super intelligent (at times when it's convenient) and, of course, sex machines.

So these incidents will occur and WE are expected to defend ourselves with one swift blow to the molester and that is that. However THAT is make believe, fiction, screen personifications, we're NOT ALL Wonder Women, just everyday, non-karate chopping, ouzi carrying, sex hungry, super spies. We are just US, regular 10 pounds overweight or underweight, unhappy or happy with of our life, madly in love or looking for love, in a great or boring job, you get the point!

Very funny story ! Every hysteric woman in plane can accuse you of sexual assaulting ! USA and its plane's territory become one of those place that reminds on "dark'' atmosphere in " Terminator". Police is everywhere, no one is safe and it is enough one wrong " looking" and you will be arrested. Nonsense ! Airlines lose the travelers due to such behavior .
