Matthew Williamson has released his 12-piece bridal gown collection, Women's Wear Daily reports. It's not the first time the designer has dabbled in wedding dresses. He released a small series through Net-A-Porter.com and, as WWD writes:
He designed customized wedding dresses for his sister Andrea, his best friend Chantal Kerzner and, more notably, for Kelis' wedding to Nas. The latter asked for a gown the color of green grapes, so that is precisely what Williamson made. "It was so fitting of her personality and style that she was delighted with the result," he said.
He also clarified that the debut of his new frocks and the Royal Wedding date was purely coincidental. They will wholesale from $1,400 to $3,300.
