I really enjoyed Kavalier and Clay but The Yiddish Policemen's Union is my favorite, I think. I think this HBO show may have a good mix of ideas from both books. I can't wait!

Oh, darn.

I was hoping this meant they were finally doing an adaptation of The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Klay. (I thought the headline got the details slightly wrong, not an unknown thing on this site.)

Still sounds interesting.

But I really, really want to see a movie or TV version of Kavalier & Klay!

Solidarity. Courage. Humor.

It is not politically correct, we are told by the likes of Chris Matthews and Jon Stewart,  to notice parallels in our own politics with the rise of German fascism, but there are no end to goofy works of fiction that take the horror out.

I ask, "Why?"

Chabon is ridiculously talented. This project echoes a storyline from his Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Klay," which is an amazing book.

I hope it's a big success.

Interesting concept, since it's belived that Hitler had a fascination with the occult. Hope it's good, I'm an admirer of Chabon's writings.
