Mark Zuckerberg Doll Goes On Sale (PHOTO, POLL)

Mark Zuckerberg Doll

First Posted: 03/09/11 11:21 PM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:35 PM ET

Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg is now an action figure, and you can own one with a "Like" or "Poke" sign for $69.90 including tax.

The "Mark Zuckerberg doll," as some are calling it, has gone on sale at MICGadget.com. It's not actually identified as Mark Zuckerberg though, but instead "Poking Inventor Action Figure."

The move not to officially call the doll Mark Zuckerberg - although it clearly is him, complete with his trademark hoody and jeans -, is likely due to Apple killing the "Steve Jobs" doll that M.I.C. Gadget tried to sell last year.

So what do you think? Will you get one?

Quick Poll

Will you consider getting a Mark Zuckerberg doll?

Absolutely, I'd love to get one!

Not for me, but could make a good gift for someone

Thanks but no thanks, I'll pass.

Undecided / Will think about it

Since when is a figurine considered a doll or action figure? Seriously.

I hear if you say "ConnectU" to it, it will give you some cash and some Facebook shares...

THey made the doll a LOT cuter than he really is.
Looks like Justin Timberlake.

I'd rather like a complete set: Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerburg, Steve Ballmer, Bill Gates, Steve Wozniak, Richard M. Stallman, Linus Torvalds, Jeff Bezos, Meg Whitman, Carol Bartz, etc. and hire the Robot Chicken guys [Seth Green and Matthew Senreich] to create an outrageous satirical series about tech world with Newsweek's Dan Lyons and Rabid Fanboy's Lastangelman.

Will you get one?? Really? If I had 70 bucks to throw away... you know, I'd rather throw it away.

It must be a bobble head (that doesn't blink often). This one is OK if made in China, or India. And OK for import into US as long as it comes with a minimum 5 year guarantee, or 1 billion head bobs – whichever comes first - that the head won’t pop off :) See http://micgadget.com/

I can think of a million other things to spend 70$ on...

I'm pretty sure I'd rather "poke" him than "like" him. That being said, I love Facebook, but there's no way I'd spend $70 - even if I had it to spare - on something like that!
