Miley Cyrus Yells At Paparazzo Who Bumped Mom Tish (VIDEO)

There may be trouble in the Cyrus family, but when it comes to outside attacks, they sure do stick together.

Miley Cyrus and mom Tish were enjoying a meal at California Chicken Cafe on Wednesday, with paparazzi stalking the outside of the dining establishment as usual. When they left, the paparazzi tried to get up close -- and one went one step too far.

It's hard to see exactly how hard they hit, but it's clear that one photographer bumped into Tish, sending Miley into a rage. She chased him into a corner and unloaded a ranting defense of her mom's honor, as the paparazzo tried, without success, to defend himself.

"Are you serious? You just hit my mom with your camera! You just ran into my mom with your camera. Don't you ever do that again. You just almost hurt my mom. Don't you ever even think about it!"

It's a coming together for Cyrus and her family, despite a lot of strife going on in the clan. In February, dad Billy Ray said that he feared for Miley based on recent scandalous behavior, and that the show "Hannah Montana" destroyed the family. He later apologized for the comments.

Billy Ray and Tish are currently going through a divorce, though it hasn't stopped Miley's career. On Saturday, she hosted "Saturday Night Live," lampooning teen stars and her Disney Channel past.

I've never been a Miley fan but seeing her on a few shows lately, SNL and Fallon to name a few, she seems to have passed that awkward bratty teenage stage and she seems to be trying to find out who she is. That's not easy for a kid who's NOT in the spotlight. Nevermind having your every move followed and criticized. I like that she seemed to instinctively stand up for her mom like that. It shows there's a respect there for someone other than herself. It's nice to see.

They need to pass a law that keeps all papparatzis 30 feet from people they are photographing, that means anyone:celebrities, politicians, ordinary people, you name it. With telephoto lenses there is no reason at all for these photographers to have to impede or get anywhere near these people. Make the fine a hefty one. First time abusers get a $500 fine. Next time, they get fined $1,000. Third time it's $10,000. Enforce that law and you'll see a change for sure.

Most papps are freelance. Buy a camera and try for a money shot. Sell to the highest bidder. You can't fire a freelancer, unfortunately.

Why did this scream "scripted and set-up?" It sounded like a bad movie. And clearly the paps elbow brushed up againts her mom's hair....isnt that enough grounds for assault? I mean, if you are attempting to repair your image and show, like Michael Douglass, that you are a superwoman type person, you can do more than the proverbial finger in the face of the guy that you paid? Call the cops and demand that he be arrested for assaulting your mom's split ends.

It's one thing to have defended her mother, but that girl took things too far. I am sure that the man didn't intentionally bumb into her mother. He was only after a picture of her. She is lucky that anybody would want to take a picture of her, considering the way her life is going. Then again, why wouldn't they?!!!

I'm sorry if I tell it how I see it. She was acting like a child having a temper tantrum. The photog did apologize. It should have ended there. But it didn't. She needs to learn that the day she became famous, her life would be less private. She is not the first star to be "stalked" by photogs, and she won't be the last. Don't like it? Get a regular job like everyone else and like in relative obscurity.
