Could we have some updated reporting on what's going on in Japan, in particular with the cleanup and the nuclear plant disaster? To post these videos is to support my assertion that the U.S. Media is obsessed with all things video. If we don't have shocking video to show, we can't tell a story anymore.

Alright, seriously Derek. Enough about your stupid song. You are seriously obsessed with pushing it in peoples faces. It's like you woke up today, turned on the news, watched all this and the only thing you could think of.. "time for some serious exposure for my music career." You care nothing about Japan or the people in it. If you did, you would not be sitting on this all day reminding people to "go check out your song." Heads up dude, we don't care about your crappy mixed down rap. We care about what is going on over there... If you did care, you would be doing something like donating money, or organizing some sort of fundraiser to help those in need over there. Not to mention, the song is absolutely terrible. If you can't take constructive criticism.. well, give up trying to do anything musically. Say what you want in dispute man, but I created this account for the sole purpose of telling you shut up already. My heart bleeds for the people in Japan, I don't need to see some low life trying to benefit off of their misfortune.

Question Derek. If you care so much about what has happened over there.. why are you sitting on this reminding people to go check your song out? Constantly? Like, every 5th comment has a reply from you with some reason to check this song out? Why not do something useful like donating money? Or organizing a fund raiser? It's like you're trying to benefit musically off of others misfortune... interesting.

Well, instead of running and hiding I'll be the first to eat my words. The situation that has been described in so many ways as not serious in regards to the reactors is now, well quite serious.

Fukushima fuel cores are melting at 2000C and dropping onto steel floor....apparently

Amazing video. Once again, nature takes mere moments to wipe the slate clear of decades of human activity. A chance to rebuild, and do it better.

Ah, come on! It's ALWAYS time to joke about Godzilla.

(Sorry but some of us are of the "You have to laugh in the face of tragedy or it it just paralyzes you" philosophy.)

"Radiation 1,000 times greater than normal."

Ridiculously meaningless sensationalist headline. If normal radiation levels are near zero, a thousand times that wouldn't pose a danger to anyone.

You may as well be reporting a Godzilla attack, cretins.

I am glad someone else is pointing this out. I am wary of nuclear in the US because of the history of bad faith of American corporations, but France and Japan have done a good job, and that story makes it sound like the reactor is failing or frying people and that is not the case.

Really? what is the average background radiation in the world? What is a 1000 times that.
