Kate Moss Dior Addict Lipstick Commercial: Where Is John Galliano? (VIDEO)

A commercial for Dior Addict lipstick starring Kate Moss has been released (or inconveniently leaked).

The 90-second spot shows the blonde supermodel getting dressed in a lush Parisian apartment overflowing with statement-making gowns and heels as Duran Duran plays in the background. With perfectly painted cat-eyes and slick black nails, Moss seductively applies the glossy pink Dior Addict lipstick before stepping out into a paparazzi cloud as she's driven away to Dior's Spring 2011 fashion show.

As we marvel in the 37-year-old's iconic beauty, we can't help but scroll the clip back and forth wondering if we missed a glimpse of John Galliano. Was the controversial designer deleted from the commercial? Or did he just not make the cut at all?

We find it strange that Galliano, a longtime friend of Moss, is missing from the commercial pushing a luxe lipstick interestingly named "Addict." But one thing is for sure, Ms. Moss looks amazing!

I dislike the ad completely. As for Kate, well she is herself and they keep using her so I won't go there. Galliano was drunk and horrible...most drunks are quite horrible and he was obviously out to shock. Are you telling me that Dior didn't know Galliano and what he could be like? And who or what is Dior to preach to anyone? Can there possibly be a more hypocritical and cheating world than that of high fashion? Their money comes from the tiny group of wives of the worlds best and worst but they won't be asking any questions. Such turning up of noses as if Galliano was a bad smell and yet some of the women who grace their dressing rooms are linked to men who have actually massacred and tortured. But money is money n'est ce pas? John go and work in the Royal Ballet or something and get into theatre where your art will be appreciated by millions and you won't be as good as your last frock for some silly capricious, botoxed, lippoed, stinkingly rich wife of some tin pot dictator!

Meant to be released in April , the video has somehow found itself way around town (which begs the question who really leaked it? – was it Dior to stave off the recent conundrum with relation to its former star John Galliano?) and is making the fashion set swoon to dizzy abandon.

It's not strange at all. Name one cosmetic company that uses a man to sell lipstick, other than MAC's use of drag queen Ru Paul? In general, women don't aspire to look like the designers they buy from, especially if they are on the eccentric side, like Galliano.

The "Where's Galliano?" hype is just that, hype.

have you been hiding under a rock? dior doesn't want his image anywhere near their brand at this point, let alone in a commercial. or, perhaps this entire post is just a cheap gimmick to get people to click on this story and watch an ad...
