While basketball fans are gearing up for the first round of March Madness this week, the rest of the world is struggling with actual madness. The "Saturday Night Live" cold open presented the various brackets of crazy, including north Africa, Washington D.C., and Hollywood, with color commentary by Kenan Thompson and Jason Sudeikis as a couple of sports casters who really enjoy their own turns of phrase:
President Gaddafi: a fat, sleepy baby in a pile of blankets....
The sketch also featured interviews with two of the top seeds, Charlie Sheen (Bill Hader) and Muammar Gaddafi (Fred Armisen), as well as Andy Samberg as Dick Vitale, offering an extremely enthusiastic report on Representative Peter King.
