I wonder how someone who holds such a responsible position could even consider making such a comment about English women and English food. English women may not have the same appeal to this American man that they have to an English man, or many other American men, but that does not make them less attractive just because it is not his choice. Such a comment is not expected, necessary, or acceptable. As for English food, it is much better than any food that is offered at Burger King, which, by the way, I will not be visiting again.

That's rich. An exec of one of our fast food places criticizing another country's cuisine. One wonders what he ate while he was in London, but knowing that he runs Burger King would suggest he wouldn't know a good cuisine from a hamburger bun.

Unfortunately you never hear of a restaurant offering British cuisine.  I seem to remember from Keen Eddie that Indian food was quite popular in England, so what does that tell you?

You need to get around a bit more. Lots of restaurants offer British cuisine, both in Britain and here in the U.S.

Thanksgiving's an American holiday, so I'm not sure how that qualifies.

You are just showing your lack of knowledge and experience on the topic.

Good wording "has had", as in forced to.

The guy is a goon. Hope he loses his job for being a dope.

But I didn't think that "apology" was one at all. Typical. Wonder if he'd like to apologize for the quality of his business's food.
