Check Charity Navigator to find where you can give the biggest bang for your buck. They analyze the adminstrative costs and the actual giving ratio.

Thanks, I will check your "Charity Navigator" I'm looking for somewhere to send my 100 dollars, (not much, but many hands make lite work) but honestly, from what I've seen of charities in my 60 some years, I've grown cynical. I'd much rather send it somehow to Japan, some charity IN Japan run by people there.

I'm not sure there is a lack of dollar bills now, this is so awful. I wonder if they need to evacuate people temporarily to other countries.
