NCAA Tournament 2011 East Region: Which Team Will Reach The Final Four?

The 2011 NCAA Tournament bracket has been revealed (click HERE for a printable bracket), with the Ohio State Buckeyes earning the No. 1 overall seed. It's time to vote on which teams will make it to the Final Four and the East region is up first. Will the Buckeyes show why they're the top seed in the tournament and dominate the region? As much as I dislike Duke they are a team that deserves to be back in the tournament they won the right number of games and won the tournament championship against my team as much as I hated it the selection this year was a bit funky though

North Carolina, don't think you'll have an easy ride to the 3rd round; against you, Washington would be able to play to their natural style of open, attacking basketball. Underestimate them at your own peril.

Duke is rewarded a cakewalk again by the selection committee once again. I am hoping for an upset by SDSU. How is Florida a #2 seed ? They were beaten by Ky. twice in the past 2 weeks and Ky. is a #4 seed ? Lots of inconsistencies overall.

I don't have a problem with Kentucky as a 4 seed, but do think Florida should not be a 2. Florida should be a 3. I understand why Florida is ahead of Kentucky, they beat Kansas St, and are 3-0 against Vanderbilt, who are both 5 seeds. And are also 6-0 against Tennessee, Xavier and Georgia who are also tournatment teams.

I also don't think SDSU should be a 2 seed. That is too high for a team whose best win is against BYU on a neutral court and Gonazga.

If anyone got a break this time around it's Pittsburgh. If they don't win their bracket they should hang their heads in shame.

And I think Temple has a chance to beat SDSU. No one can slow a game down like the Owls.

I've been saying that to my UGA friends down here. I'm being nice enough to say they should be in the tourney (you could argue otherwise), but how does UGA get a 10 seed. Meanwhile Clemson had the same record, lost to UNC in their tournament, and they're playing in for a 12 seed.

I like North Carolina.
Ohio State can be inconsistent and it only takes one bad game.

Carolina is a team built for a tournament like this.

I'm beginning to the the primary purpose of the selection committee is to craft a tournament that gives Duke the best chance to get to the final four every year.

#1 Ohio State has #2 seed North Carolina, #3 seed Syracuse, #4 seed Kentucky in the East....#1 Duke has San Diego State as the two seed in the West.

And I LOVES me some Duke Blue Devils.  I think Coach K is THE coach of college basketball.  I had the biggest crush on Bobby Hurley....lol.  I got a thang for point guards. :-)

I agree, most people dislike great teams.

Although right now, the Heat are the most disliked team in the NBA; actually most disliked sports team (beat out the Yankees for that honor).
