In honor of the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day, London's Southbank Centre launched WOW - Women Of The World, an annual festival celebrating the achievements and potential of women across the globe.

A three-day affair (March 11 - 13, 2011), WOW featured performances by Annie Lennox, Kate Nash, Baaba Maal, and Paloma Faith. The speakers included Dr. Precious Lunga, Felicity Finch, and Bianca Jagger, among others. With mentoring opportunities, workshops, debates, and networking events, the three-day event hosted a truly packed itinerary and its debut was inspiring.

Check out some of the performers who graced the Southbank Centre stage and tell us -- better than Lillith Fair?
