Interesting that Leather's book sales are attributed to a business model rather than to the writing itself. Perhaps I'm naive...but the quality of the writing should have been addressed in here somewhere. And by the way, Mr. Vine, Stieg does not have a problem - HE'S DECEASED. Having said that, I will try Leather's books...I was first introduced to Harry Potter at a library conference in the late 1990s. In a similar strategy, the first Potter book was given away free at the conference.

Check out Icelandic author Arnaldur Indridison sometime, too. Great mix of a chilling landscape, and detective and historical crime fiction. Brrrrr.

Hi. This is fantastic - we're hearing more and more great stories about eBook success through both the traditional and Indie platforms.
