Well this is an odd career choice: Darren "Professor Splash" Taylor has spent the past 25 years traveling the world in hopes of breaking his own records. And so far he's succeeded: he holds the Guinness World Record for the highest shallow water dive.
When the Professor went to Trondheim, Norway this week, he took his stunt to yet another country, swan diving from a 36-foot high board into an inflatable kiddie pool filled with only 12 inches of water, the Daily Mail reports.
With a leap, Denver-native Professor Splash set his latest world record (he currently holds the title in Italy, Spain, Germany, Japan and the United States, according to his website).
He told reporters at the scene that the "goal of the jump is to land flat and get as much water out of this pool as I can." He told the Daily Mail: 'With my unique technique I can make each jump a world record one, but I must admit they are not getting any easier.'
