Keira Knightley Coco Mademoiselle Film: Actress Strips Down, Rides Motorcycle For Chanel (VIDEO)

And now for your gratuitous Keira Knightley coverage: on Monday, Chanel debuted its three-minute-long "Coco Mademoiselle: The Film" starring the British actress as directed by Joe Wright.

Of the partnership, Wright said, "It's one of the things I love about my job -- getting to dress up Keira," and when asked which of Keira's many qualities inspires him, he remarked, according to the Telegraph, "It's like being asked why you love your wife, and it's rather bland to say she's talented and beautiful and bold, because it's such a subjective thing. On a purely superficial level, she just gets more beautiful -- which is very fair on the rest of us as we all get to admire her."

Define "rest of us" -- we would sincerely like to know who, aside from style editors at the end of the work day, partakes in this newfound celebs-plug-products-in-a-short-movie genre. But curiosity aside, we will attest that Keira knows how to work a jumpsuit, and apparently a motorcycle...and might have even convinced us to cut our hair into that bob we've been craving.

At what point though do advertisers and consumers both realize nobody believes that? I never understood branding perfume in general. It's not like someone is going to recognize the brand in the scent like they would a handbag or shoes. Don't people buy perfume based on their reaction to the smell? I know that's how I buy cologne.
