Kate Winslet & Evan Rachel Wood: Who Was Best-Dressed At 'Mildred Pierce' Premiere? (PHOTOS, POLL)

Kate Winslet and Evan Rachel Wood were both dressed to kill at the "Mildred Pierce" premiere in N.Y.C. on Monday night.

Kate showed some skin in a partially sheer and dotted Stella McCartney sheath, while a newly-blonde Evan picked a plum Elie Saab number with draping and jewels at the hip.

Our favorite sartorial part? Both looks are long-sleeved, perfect for the in-between (read: annoying) weather.

Agree. Mildred Pierce is one of my favorite films. I can't even imagine anyone playing Joan Crawford's role. Also, her bratty daughter in the film is excellent. I'll try to keep an open mind, but I think those classic films should not be redone. Next someone will try to reprise a Bette Davis role. She was one of a kind.

Ann Blyth was amazing as Veda and Joan Crawford was amazing in practically everything she ever did. Bette Davis is one of my absolute favorite actresses. I can watch her movies over and over.

I don't know if I'm going to watch this or not -- the original was SO GOOD, why remake it?

Pretty hard to be objective here. Kate Winslet is so good looking, mesmerizing, I just stopped there. Some people have that extra something, and she has it.
