Kirstie Alley's 'Dancing With The Stars' Cee-Lo Green Debut (VIDEO)

Kirstie Alley has been hyping her 'Dancing With the Stars' debut on Twitter, and Monday night she came through, earning the second-highest score in the season premiere (behind actor Ralph Macchio). Kirstie, 60, and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy performed a saucy cha-cha to Cee-Lo Green's "Forget You."

"My goal for this cha-cha is to stay upright and on my feet through the entire dance," she told the camera beforehand.

Kirstie managed to do these things and earn raves from the judges.

"It made me feel good," Len Goodman said.

Kirstie is already hard at work practicing next week's routine.

"ahhhh...no rest for the wicked..our next dance is QUICK STEP and believe me...it is like the damn BUNNY HOP!! got work really hard on this 1," she tweeted Tuesday.

I am a huge fan of both Dancing with the Stars and Kirstie Alley. Thanks to my employee subscription to DISH Network I haven’t missed an episode yet. With DISH I get to watch Dancing with the Stars, live or recorded, on my smartphone anywhere I have internet access or a 3G connection. Kirstie is definitely my role model and I couldn’t respect anyone more. She is so comfortable with who she is though she knows she will constantly be criticized for her weight. I think she has a great personality and great talent.

I just watched the video and she did a good job. Yes she is a big girl, but big girls can dance and can look good too. She will lose a lot of weight doing the show and it will inspire her to get to a weigh she is comfortable with. Her dance partner is um, um, um good too.

Nice to see a large woman moving with grace and precision. And we'll be able to watch the pounds melt off, which will make George Lopez eat his words. He could lose weight and he'd still be a little pop-eyed piggie! Even surgery wouldn't help that face of his.

I still can't believe she is 60. Not our grandma's 60s lol. She looks and moves beautifully. I'm 33 and would have had a hard time with that. I stumble on Just Dance for Wii. Way to go, good luck!

i know. i can't get it in my head she's 60. prob because she was a lot older than i thought when she started doing cheers. and looks great.

and i think her extra weight helps because it fills in the wrinkles. no jokes intended. it's true. i've seen heavy friends losr weight and they look good but older.
