LeBron Dances On 'Ellen,' Surpises Writer In Aerobics Class (VIDEO)

LeBron James made an appearance on "Ellen Degeneres Show" on Monday and helped surprise one of her writers in an aerobics class.

Before the two-time MVP entered the classroom, Ellen explained how influential she is when it comes to supporting professional sports teams.

"Last year I supported the Saints and they won the Super Bowl. This year I supported the Green Bay Packers. They won the Super Bowl," she said. "Do you want me to help you win the NBA championship?"

LeBron said "absolutely" and told her that if she supports the Miami Heat, he will send "plenty of gifts."

The Miami Heat star then quietly walked into the aerobics class and shocked Amy, one of Ellen's writers. Later, he joined the class in a dance session.

While I realize that "let's hate LeBron" is the sport du jour ... I watched both clips and find LeBron to be a poised & talented  young man that is also gracious.   He does not seem to allow his fame to go to his head - often, a picture (or a video) speaks a thousand words.  

Folks who are willing to self-deprecate or be goofy to make those around them relax or get a giggle out of it are typically people who are very comfortable with who they are & generous with their interaction with people.

Good for him & good for Ellen for being so cool by surprising one of her writers!

Why does everyone insist on hating on LeBron? Athletes that have done awful things like rape or cheating on their wives haven't faced the public's wrath as LeBron has. Just because he didn't want to play for an awful team in an awful city he became public enemy number one.

It's really time for all you haters to get over something that you shouldn't have mattered to you in the first place unless you're from Cleveland. But even if you are from Cleveland, grow up and realize that athelets are not anyone's property, they can take their talents wherever they please as free agents.

Definitely was staged for two reasons. One: Who works out in a business suit? Two: In order to have heard Ellen, Amy would have had to have been wearing an IFB ear piece, which is what people in television use to hear each other when they are in different locations. I do Audio for live television broadcasts so I know this for a fact.
