Denver City Councilman Michael Hancock became the fourth mayoral candidate to release a television ad on Monday. Hancock's spot, titled "Never Gave Up," highlights Hancock's inspirational biography.
"I've seen hard times. I've faced obstacles and I have spent a career giving back and making a difference. As Mayor, I will fight even harder for all Denver families, neighborhoods and businesses," Hancock said in an email to supporters on Monday.
The Denver Post reports that the ad is set to air on Tuesday. Carol Boigon, James Mejia and Chris Romer have also released television ads this year.
Ballots for the all-mail-in election will be delivered on April 15. The election will be held on May 3.
