Bronx Zoo's Missing Cobra Spawns @BronxZoosCobra Twitter Account

The Bronx Zoo is missing a cobra, but apparently he's joined Twitter.

The comedic snake impersonator has taken the reptile on a virtual tour of New York, from the Bronx to the High Line adding bits of classic NY commentary along the way. We'll see what happens when (or if) the zoo actually catches the thing.

The real snake still hasn't been found. What exactly happened isn't known, and the snake has been on the loose since Friday.

Public officials say they're confident the snake isn't in a public area, like the Twitter account suggests (comedically, of course).

Nothing really funny about a cobra on the loose. It could be almost anyplace. I find it difficult to believe that any would have permission to bring into the country dangerous deadly wildlife, such as the cobra. Didn't anyone think of possibilities of it ever escaping? Are there enough anti-venom shots available in the Bronx if not the NYC area?
