If Haiti desires real leadership, they need to import the Chinese!

Keep your spirits up Wy. Don't let anyone block your blessings, keep doing your thing.

Some people like Wyclef actually put forth the effort in action to go in the trenches and help people and others just want to stay at home on the sidelines and criticize...they're called HATERS!!

yeah, he was down in the trenches all right.

not until his run for president of haiti massively failed because he was no where to be seen. now that he's down there, how long is he going to stay? for f*ck's sake, sean penn was there longer than he was and he's still there--and his charity is doing really great things.

he's a carpetbagger.

Wyclef was born in Haiti and created a foundation to help the Haitian people. He has been going there since the Fugees to do free concerts, years before Sean Penn knew where Haiti was.

Wyclef was one of the only person to draw attention to Haitian peoples plight...the people were in crisis way before there was a earthquake in Port Au Prince, but no one paid attention. Now that there was a major earthquake, Sean Penn and others just jumped on the bandwagon and went down there to draw attention to themselves and take credit for the little they did, when people like Wyclef has always been in their fight. Wyclef still has family that actually lives there. You don't know what you're talking about.

He's being very tongue in cheek people. He's a very nice guy and one devoted to Haiti. Some have only a post earthquake opinion of him; one that has some controversies real and some overblown and some with no truth to them at all. Check out pre earthquake Haiti Wyclef and find the balance. He's faithfully kept Haiti in the forefront always and he deserves due credit for this.

This guys as narcisstic as Palin. The most famous hand? No one knew an election was taking place? Maybe he should stay there to qualify for residency for the next election.

Wyclef is "milking it". I don't have any respect for this fellow. I'm sorry he was hurt.

I agree with your entire comment whole-heartedly. His hand was "grazed" (and I'm sorry he was hurt at all) but that bandage seems a little much. Why do I have the feeling I've hurt myself worse shaving my legs?
