Kathleen Folden Explains Loveland Art Destruction On Website
The woman who destroyed a controversial piece of art at the Loveland Museum/Gallery last year is explaining her actions on a new website.
Kathleen Folden, a Montana trucker, pleaded guilty in November, 2010, to misdemeanor criminal mischief in connection with the destruction of a piece of art that depicted Jesus perfroming lewd sexual acts, among other controversial images.
According to reports, Folden drove from Montana, entered the museum and destroyed the work with a crowbar.
Folden's new website, givegodlove.com, provides her account of the Loveland Art Museum incident (embedded below). She described being "utterly livid" upon reading about certain aspects of the work.
Folden also provides a prediction of the coming rapture, and a thank you to Denver lawyer Cliff Stricklin, who established a fund that "kept [Folden] from being homeless under the bridges of Denver."
As a part of Folden's settlement, she was ordered to pay nearly $3,000 in restitution.
