It seems that Hollywood's forced post-Oscars hibernation has come to an end, with a handful of celebrities stepping out to various screenings and premieres on Monday night.

Some highlights: matchy-matchy Mr. and Mrs. Cruise, Michelle Williams in a chic sheath and one of our favorite "House of Style" hosts Shalom Harlow and her curly mop.

Dana Dalaney and Jake Gyllenhaal looked terrific! Poor Tom and Katie - they dressed as if going to the premier was the same as going to a Lakers game on a last minute whim. I do wish females who pose for these photo ops would learn to hold their bodies in a more graceful, sophisticated way. The adolescent, pidgeon-toed, high school dork pose is totally ridiculous.

Should we assume they don't actually sit and watch these movies? That they just walk through the complex and out the back where some fancy-pants dress designer hands them  paycheck for wearing their frock? I recall hearing of one celebrity who changed clothes six times in a night.

Why was Joan Collins at the Kennedys premiere - because she knew Joe Sr.?

I liked what Sophia Coppola wore, it suited her. Shalom Harlow looked very different from what I remember.
