Judge Judy 'Feeling Much Better' After Being Hospitalized

Judge Judy

LOS ANGELES — TV's "Judge Judy" is out of a Los Angeles hospital after an overnight stay and says "all is well" with her. In a statement Thursday, 68-year-old Judy Sheindlin said she was on her way home and expressed appreciation for the "loving messages" she had received.

Sheindlin was taken by ambulance from her show taping Wednesday to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for an undisclosed condition.

She planned to return to work on "Judge Judy" as scheduled on April 12.

Sheindlin, who presides over small-claims cases on her syndicated show, offered a few words of advice: "See you in court. Be on time."

Glad she's feeling better. But I had some weird dream about celebrity models in Sports Illustrated, with Judge Judy being one of them.

Don't watch her show, haven't read about her in ages. I have a thing for older ladies, but I prefer the Helen Mirren and Holland Taylor dreams.

I would love to see her blabbing gibberish at some of the goofballs on that show.

She's good entertainment on occasion. Profited mainly off of the lack of faith the production company had in her when she signed on. They let her own the show in lieu of paying her more money. Same thing happened with Don Cornelius and Soul Train way back when.

Blunt and truthful, and a human lie detector...some may call that "mean", I say we need more folks LIKE her.

Not only is this woman and her show a mockery of the justice system, but she actually felt it was appropriate to make judgements against people in a court of law while high on pain meds after oral surgery:

"Judge Judy reportedly underwent oral surgery on Tuesday and "and didn't eat all day before the procedure and she had to take pain medication," a insider of the TV show tells RadarOnline. "She was told to take the day off but she said 'No, No I'll work.'"...""She was just sitting on the stand during her taping, and she started saying things that didn't make any sense," an insider tells Radar."

I thought that was pretty standard?

She jumped to conclusions about her condition just as she jumps to conclusions in court.

Love her or hate her, JJ is one of the few true curmudgeons of the female persuasion. Get well, Judge.

Get well Judge Judy, trapped gas can give off other symptoms like a heart attack or severe pain.

That happened to my younger brother. Ended up in the ER. We refer to it as the world's most expensive fart.

I've heard about that happening and it very frightening.Gas travels throughout our body and when it's trapped it's one of the most painful experiences in the world. It use to happen to me until I changed my diet.

My apologies if this gets posted twice but...

Her perceived cantankerousness, IMO, is because she gets sick of people who come into her court room and try to BS her...get over on the system or just plain old lack common sense!

I love JJ!
