Isaac Mizrahi Back In Bridal Business With Wedding Dress Collection For TheAisleNewYork.com (PHOTOS, POLL)

Isaac Mizrahi is back in the bridal business, launching a collection of 6 wedding dresses for TheAisleNewYork.com.

Priced from $2,200 to $4,500 and sized from 0 to 14, the gowns will hit the members-only website next Tuesday and be on the e-shelves for six months. The designer will also be shilling handbags and jewelry to go along with the frocks. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Mizrahi's favorite charity, Good Shepherd's Services, of which he is a board member.

And, yes, this is an internet-only sale (please see: "Would You Buy Your Wedding Dress Online?"). Mizrahi said, "The best place to shop for your wedding gown is the privacy of your own computer." Agree? Disagree? Agree to disagree?

I would NEVER buy a wedding dress online! It's one of the most important days of your life and you want it to fit.
Also- I would love to see Isaac to come back to Target. It was a huge mistake for him to leave Target and go to Liza Claiborne which went bust right away. Isaac- please also stop doing the extremely embarrassing "grandma clothes" HSN shows. tacky!

How many women really want to purchase their wedding gown over the internet? Can you send it back? What about alterations? Since bridal dresses tend to run 1-2 sizes smaller than stated on regular dresses are you willing to order a dress that may not be refundable because the size if off? What about the experience of trying on the gown at a store with others who can give their opinions-yay or nay?

Also, the dresses pictured are for women with small hips. No full skirts in any of the pictures. That will definitely limit your buyers. And is there a shortage of satin? Some of these dresses are cut rather tight with very little room for movement and dancing. Am sooo not loving these dresses...

Hi talents lend themselves perfectly to bridal. For the bridesmaids, I'd love to see him bring back some of the super bright color blocking he did in the mid-90s.
