Jamie Hince Weighs In On Galliano: It's Obvious That It's Alcohol, Not Politics

We've kind of been waiting for Kate Moss to break her silence about the John Galliano saga -- just days before the dismissed Dior designer's "I love Hitler" rant video surfaced, it was reported that he would be making Kate's dress for her upcoming trip down the aisle to wed rocker Jamie Hince. (Update: Galliano isn't.) And Kate's bad behavior was once (twice, maybe thrice) the talk of the fashion town after she was pictured on the cover of the Daily Mirror in 2005 with her drug of choice.

Kate still hasn't said much, publicly anyway, but Hince made a few comments to the Sunday Times Magazine, Vogue UK reports. He told the British paper that he hasn't seen the now-infamous clip and that he and Galliano are merely acquaintances, but "people have got to see reason here...You can judge them on the stupid words they said -- which I think were stupid, I hope that goes without saying -- or you can dig a bit deeper and you can try and find out what the problem is. And I think it's obvious that it's alcohol. People are trying to say those are his politics. 'I love Hitler' -- that's not political, that's somebody in trouble."
