'Crazy, Stupid, Love' Trailer: Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling Star In New Comedy (VIDEO)

Ryan Gosling Shows Off His Six Pack In New Movie With Steve Carell

Steve Carell is landing his lady as he leaves "The Office," and he's looking to do the same in his first big screen appearance following his TV exit.

Carell stars in the romantic comedy "Crazy, Stupid, Love," playing Cal, a man whose wife Emily -- played by Julianne Moore -- cheats on and then leaves him. In order to get his game back, he turns to Jacob, a Lothario he meets in a bar, played by a brash and cocky Ryan Gosling.

Given that it's a love story and tale of redemption, after some playing the field, Carell's character eventually sets off on a quest to fix his marriage. Turning the tables, Gosling begins to seek his advice as he accidentally falls in love himself. His lady? Hannah, played by Emma Stone. Unfortunately for Gosling, she's the one woman who is resistant to his charm.

To add to the star power, Marissa Tomei and Kevin Bacon take supporting roles.

Carell, whose last episode on "The Office" airs on April 28th, recently landed another movie role, attaching himself to the romantic comedy/action hybrid, "Seeking a Friend At the End of the World." Gosling was recently offered a leading role in the mob film "Gangster Squad."

The film hits theaters on July 29th.
