'Glee' Lady Gaga Episode To Air April 26th, Last 90 Minutes

'Glee' Going Gaga In Giant Special Episode

Lady Gaga's new hit "Born This Way" is all about accepting yourself, and it's a lesson with which the members of the New Directions will soon become very well acquainted.

The FOX hit "Glee' will air a special hour and a half, Gaga-inspired episode on April 26th, The Hollywood Reporter relays. The trade magazine says that glee club leader Mr. Schuester "will teach the glee club about self-acceptance and self-expression through Gaga songs."

The show and singer are a good match; "Glee" boasts a diverse cast with minorities, wheelchair-bound singers and openly gay characters, while Gaga has been outspoken in her devotion to civil rights and self-expression. Last fall, she campaigned for the end of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell," and in March, she ended a deal with retailer Target over their support of anti-LGBT candidates.

"Glee" has sold millions of albums composed of their covers of other artists' music. During their Super Bowl episode, they famously covered Katy Perry's "California Gurls."
