According to Tameka, her nanny who is from Brazil was upset that she couldn't go home for her son's birthday. Tameka eventually caved in and took the trip there with her. From there, the beautiful bodies in Brazil tempted Tameka to want plastic surgery.

Tamika has 3 kids with her first husband. It has been reported she was seeing Usher while still with her husband. I don't think the surgery was revenge but the trip itself was. Sounds like she was trying to make him jealous by taking a trip.

The title is misleading. She went into cardiac arrest due to the anesthesia. Women in South America are obsessed with size, looks and plastic surgery so I believe Tamika's reason. I saw a documentary and they all want to be a size 0-2.

I'm so thankful that I've never been so obessed that I had to look like someone else, had an eating disorder or crave to keep up with the latest fad. None of that was ever part of my environment.

She claims to have taken the trip to get back at Usher. While there, she was self-conscious comparing herself to other women and decided on surgery. These are the acts of a selfish, shallow woman who has more money than she knows what to do with. Hopefully, her children have better caregivers and role models than she's revealing herself to be.

I'm mad at my husband so I'm going to get lipo in a foreign country? That doesn't make any sense at all. More like she had just had a baby three months earlier so no Dr. worth his salt would have operated on her so soon here in the U.S. so she went to Brazil where the regulations are looser.

That's not what the article stated. She went to Brazil because she was mad at him. Once she got there the nanny and her friends talked her into the plastic surgery.

Either way I don't believe her story. She had just had a baby three months earlier- no doctor in the States would have operated on her. But Brazil has very lax laws when it comes to plastic surgery. You don't just up and make a huge decision to have major surgery while on vacation! And if things did happen the way she claims they did it makes her look even worse as it shows incredible irresponsibility.
