Burger King Meat Monster: What's Inside? (PHOTOS)

The Huffington Post     First Posted: 04/12/11 04:41 PM ET   Updated: 06/12/11 06:12 AM ET

This is almost sickening.

Burger King is releasing a new sandwich, aptly named the "MEAT MONSTER," only in Japan. While the company's press release stresses the "Have It Your Way" mentality, stressing that not all options are required (you can opt for one patty, no chicken, no bacon, etc.), the full sandwich itself looks impressive.

So is the likely calorie count.

From the Consumerist:

While the PDF press release breaks down the cost of the Monster and its components (it will run you around $9.70), it doesn't seem to make mention of the calorie count. But if you were to make the same beast using the U.S. equivalents of the elements in the Monster, you'd be looking at: 1160 calories, 24g of saturated fat, 240mg of cholesterol, 13g of sugar, 54g carbs, 69g of fat, 1.5g of trans fat, and 2290mg sodium.

But what exactly is in this behemoth of meat and cheese? Click through the slideshow below in order to get a full list of the ingredients.

It still doesn't compare to the awesome of the Hardee's Monster Burger. (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6498304/ns/business-consumer_news/)

I think this "Meat Monster" burger qualifies as yet another food item that is essentially seriously ill will against your fellow man. Like BOGO on 2-gallon tubs of mayonnaise (looking at you, Wal-Mart...), or Steel Reserve malt liquor (looking at you, Miller Co...).

This is exactly why Big Pharmaceutical companies make the big big bucks, cardiac care is very expensive! Call this thing the Widow maker! A huge pile of junk on a bun, served by halfwits who rarely wash their hands after using the toilet! Yum!!! NOT! I do not eat fast food mainly because I enjoy living!

Japan, in the past month has suffered devastating earthquakes, an enormous tsunami, the deaths of tens of thousands of men, women and children and a worsening nuclear disaster. And now, Burger King Holdings has launched yet a lethal belly bomb attack on the Japanese population.  Maybe they haven't heard that World War II ended 65 years ago.
