Apple has rolled out iOS 4.3.2, the latest update to its mobile operating system.
iOS 4.3.2 is compatible with iPhone 4, as well, which is good news for iPhone 4 users who recently reported a similar FaceTime glitch.
The original iPad, the iPhone 3GS, the fourth-genertion iPod Touch and the fifth-generation iPod Touch are all eligible for the security upgrades that this software release introduces. "These security updates seem to be aimed at, among other things, patching the vulnerability that allowed for the untethered Jailbreak of iPhone iOS 4.3.1," The Next Web reports.
"The update does not apply to the CDMA-based Verizon iPhone 4," AppleInsider writes. But don't fret: Apple's simultaneous release of iOS 4.2.7 will take care of Verizon iPhone units.
If you're an iPad 2 or iPhone 4 owner and you've already synced your device via iTunes, have you noticed that these updates eliminate the FaceTime and 3G bugs? Weigh in with our quick poll (below).
