The Maus doesn't like it when you tarnish the image. Sounds like a "Quit or we'll fire you" situation.

I can only imagine that focusing on only one aspect of her career will be helpful to her. The less pressure and stress the better. Good luck to her!

The show isn't ending. They are going to change the name to So Random! and continue it with the other characters as a sketch comedy show.

I have watched those so random! Special episodes and in a scale of 1-10, 10 being madly hilarious and 1 being falling asleep, the show will be a 3. That makes me sad.

The child-actor world is weird. Very few kids seem to emerge from it into a successful adulthood. Lots of casualties on the way. The Kurt Russell's/Ron Howards of the world seem to be the exception, not the rule. It is a strange atmosphere, being a kid who is surrounded by working adults who treat them like little adults. Not healthy, in many cases.

These disney girls are starting to look the same to me...the entertainment version of Mr. Potato Head. Well, I suppose the countdown should begin to the "leaked" nude photos....wait for it.....wait for it....

There's a perfectly logical reason for the similarities..."The Truth Is Out There"

I don't like that way she's being marketed as some kind of victim of body image problems.

She beat up her backup dancer. The photo of the dancer's black eye and bruised face is available at TMZ.

I don't like it that she can portray herself as a victim after she beat up another woman.

She didn't get charged with assault because the handlers came in and got the dancer to settle instead of pressing charges.

If not for that settlement, then Demi would be going through the same kind of probation and counseling as Chris Brown.

i do see your point, but i also suspect that for many "bullies" (for lack of a better word), there is also a history of their victimization. i'll bet it often goes hand-in-hand that someone with deep emotional scars (and literal ones ... demi was said to be cutting and also had been bullied in the past) or people who themselves have been abused would be prone to continuing the cycle of violence, as they say. i don't have any particular attachment to demi lovato (other than that my kids watch her show) but i'm sure something had to have gone way out of whack for her to start punching people.

So she can't have body image issues because she hit someone? Also what demi did is not comparable to what CB did... unless she beat up some one that was 75lbs lighter and 5 inches shorter, and left the person in her lambo to later be hospitalized.

Well on the bright side for Disney, with the name of the show all they have to do is recast with a male lead with the name "Sonny" and continue with the same concept!

Good for her. Moving on from Disney is always a good idea.
01:04 PM on 04/19/2011
Did you even read the story?
02:19 PM on 04/19/2011
Yes I did, that's why I made that comment. I don't see her appearing on another Disney show from now on. She's an adult now so she'll move on to more adult things.
