Most Beautiful Royals: Princess Grace, Kate Middleton, Princess Diana & More (PHOTOS, POLL)

BeautifulPeople.com, a website devoted to beautiful people, polled 127,000 of its most beautiful users to see who they thought was the most beautiful royal of all beautiful time.

Coming in at number one -- well we won't ruin it for you, but let's just say Kate Middleton beat out Diana, a "big surprise" according to managing director of the site Greg Hodge. He told the New York Post, "Unlike Diana, who grew into her role, Kate Middleton comes in very fashion-forward. She's living this fairy tale, and is about to become the most famous princess in the world."

Hodge added, "The British royals are typically very horsey-looking. Diana certainly improved the...gene pool, and we hope that Kate will do the same." How beautifully put!

kate is a pretty girl, and perhaps she will grow into the role of princess well.  she seems to be a very nice girl, sensible, intelligent, humble and hardworking.  

there will however, never be another diana.  to be fair, the press really shouldn't keep trying to turn kate into one.  part of diana's allure was her seeming fragility, her soft heart, her undeniable love for her children, and her ability to get back on her feet, no matter how badly she was treated.

beauty is more complex than mere looks.  grace was exquisite, and so is her granddaughter.  

diana though was in a class by herself, and always will be.

i hope kate will be left to make her own niche.  

it was a bit of a surprise not to see the spanish princess letitzia on this list, or queen noor of jordan.  both beautiful women as well, as are the other ladies on this list.

Diana! Obviously. Cause she was real and more beautiful inside than outside, if that is even possible. Grace Kelly too but that's expected. She's a movie star. But she ranks second. Diana was an angel and didn't know it.

"most beautiful of all time"- ha! more like "most beautiful of the recent era".

take a look at the artwork and literature from various countries. you'll see that in the past we've had some beautiful royals from many countries and many time periods. queen tiye and Nefertari come to mind...

Who is that one that they used to feature? I believe she is from a Muslim country (could be wrong), but she had medium length hair, kind of softly curled and a very simple, yet elegant style. She looked to be in her 30's and was really pretty.

grace was elegant, classy and very talented.
princess di was overexposed and two-faced, even when she divorced and did nothing great. she wasn't classy after her affairs with married men. her tabloid interview with bashir about her and charles' affairs made her even less sympathetic. her charity work couldn't change her childish behavior and bad influence on people like michael jackson.

Doomed from the start with a horrible husband who had no intention of being a loving husband. He did his duty. He had his fun. For all of his life, he has had that aloof, bored, countenance, as if his life were a chore. He should have fixed it, married his sleep around girlfriend in spite of parental disapproval when he was young, and failing that, he should have abdicated after he provided an heir and a spare, and leave the mother to raise her sons, or something. She was used, all the way around, and don't think her sons do not know it. I am horrified that Phillip and Elizabeth actually believed Diana should have sucked it up, and be ok with her husband flaunting his mistress. One wonders why they did not demand that their son live up to his responsibilities or HE should get out!

camilla was the one who wouldn't marry charles, because she refused to wait for him until after his military service, which required him to be away from home for a long time, was over.  

but you're right, diana was used and abused by a family that couldn't stand the fact that she was the most popular royal during her life.

I don't find Kate Middleton all that attractive either. Nice figure and I am sure her style will develop over time, but face-wise, just o.k. In some close-ups, her skin looks a little weathered to only be in her 20's.
