Trump Financial Loser

The Atlantic:

Everybody knows that Donald Trump is a showman, and that's helped rocket him to a level of political celebrity most people wouldn't have imagined. But it looks to me like Trump is about to experience the downside of sudden political fame. That downside is scrutiny. Trump doesn't seem to mind--indeed, seems rather to enjoy--the scrutiny of his personal life, the models, etc. But he's awfully thin-skinned about his business affairs, and that's where things are heading next.

When he starts saying "excuse me" in rapid succession, you know the questioner is onto something.

Isikoff cut right to the matter with honest and stark questions about the Donald's business bona fides. Trump, to his credit and perhaps his huge ego, didn't squirm but he didn't convince anyone, either. Voters should be concerned how he shoves people to the side to take all the credit, while pointing the finger when things go wrong. He says '.. I have had no failures.' Wow, really? Failure is a part of life for everyone, and there is nothing wrong with that. But not having the capacity to recognize one's role when things go wrong, makes it impossible to avoid the same mistakes in the future. Trump's 4 bankruptcies and numerous deals gone bad are the evidence.

Watching Trump constantly interupt the interviewer because he doesn't like the questions is getting old. I'm glad we only have 3 more weeks to listen to this, since he has to keep his day job to pay the bills. Oh, wait. He DOESN'T pay his bills.
He quips about how clever he is to bilk the bankers and partners he has worked with out of their money. His comments about the investors in FL were telling. Yes. They lost a lot of money because we reneged on our promise, but they could have lost more. I wonder how much of the investors' cash went into his pocket.

Trump will bow out before he has to file any financial reports. And go back to playing a guy named Mr. Donald J. Trump on Celebrity Apprentice - which no one watches. It's probably the only real money he makes now.
